One of the best parts of technology available to us these days is the ability to connect with far-away friends and family. We usually video chat with my mom every Sunday and manage to Skype with my best friend Tam when we can. The boys are definitely more challenging to keep in a particular area to stay in the camera's view than they were a few months ago but we manage to make it work. One of the best ways to encourage them to stay in one spot is to give them a snack at the table and/or have them listen (and look at) a picture book Grandma Gail reads to them all the way from California.
