Odin at 3 1/2

Odin says, "That's odd"and can count to 46 and has sat through 130 pages of The House at Pooh Corner at bedtime. He loves his little brother so much I can't believe it and wants to give him his bottles, get him a pacifier, and hug (and wrestle) him daily. His happiness is contagious, when we're reading Piggie and Elephant books, when he's searching for Sammy the monkey at Trader Joes, and when he's building complicated castles and buildings with his wooden blocks in his room. He's too big for naps (most days) but will usually stay in his room for an hour of quiet time each day and listen to books on CD. He loves to say, "Remarkable!" and so many other words I can't believe he knows. If I kept track of how many questions he asks daily I'm sure it would be close to 100. Or at least it feels like it. He loves to ask what street and store signs say when we're out and about and can rhyme words like crazy.  I love this kid something fierce but lately I'm struggling with how to best parent him. I am sensing it will be an ongoing theme in my life.
