We've been beyond fortunate the past three years to have Trav's mother watch our boys while I work part-time. She took a leave from her job for a few years(she teaches pre-K) and then was able to go back to teaching her class on Tuesdays and Thursdays while also helping us with the boys Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Oh-and she watched our 5-year-old nephew as well! The woman's amazing to say the least.
My work situation is changing for next year and we found out a few weeks ago that we will be needing childcare on Tuesdays and Thursdays. So this week we have been interviewing some part-time nanny candidates. It is a strange situation to be in, choosing someone to care for our children. Until now, only family, close friends, and a few of Trav's previous students have watched the boys for us. This process has been tough for me but I have to trust that it will all work out. I am feeling hopeful we will find someone that is a good fit to come into our home and care for Odin and Taran but it is stressful nonetheless. Wish us luck!
